From the annual Bach Festival and world-famous visiting artists to faculty and student performances, explore the wide variety of event series offered by the Department of Music.

Many notable artists have graced the stage at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½, including Paul McCartney, Paul Simon, Leon Fleisher, and Itzhak Perlman.

Bach Festival Society

Founded in 1935, the Bach Festival Society of Winter Park has the distinction of being the third-oldest continuously operating Bach Festival in the United States, and is housed on the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ campus. For more information about the Bach Festival Society of Winter Park and its performances, .

Ensemble Series

With more than 25 academic music ensembles, ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ is active in the choral, orchestral, operatic, chamber music, and jazz arenas. Ensembles are composed of music majors and talented members of the broader ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ student body, and truly embody the liberal arts mission of the College.

Faculty Concert Series

The accomplished faculty of ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ provide cultural experiences to the College community as well as the Central Florida area through recitals and other exciting performances at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½.

Global Music Series

In furthering ÐÓ°É´«Ã½â€™ mission of global citizenship, the Department of Music is proud to present the Global Music Series. While most music department performances represent masterpieces of a wide variety of cultures, languages, and nations, the Global Music Series seeks to provide an in-depth view of a specific musical culture.

Jazz Series

ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ offers student, faculty, and guest artist jazz ensemble concerts throughout the year.

Master Class Series

In cooperation with the Bach Festival Society of Winter Park, the Winter Park Institute, and generous donors, ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ is able to provide students with the extraordinary opportunity to perform for and work directly with world-renowned musicians through a series of Master Classes.

Music at Midday Series

On most Tuesdays and Thursdays during the academic year, Music at Midday concerts are held in the John M. Tiedtke Recital Hall, showcasing ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ students performing primarily solo repertoire. Concerts begin at 12:30 p.m.

Student Recitals

Hear ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ students perform their most polished repertoire in solo recitals that take place throughout the year. These talented students have proven themselves to be accomplished musicians and are eager to share their artistry with the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ community.

Visiting Artists Series

Through the generosity of donors, alumni, and the Bach Festival Society of Winter Park, ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Department of Music is honored to present celebrated visiting artists in concert.
